Your personal web niche, one memory at a time... Open Control Panel Go to Googlenium

Googlenium User Guide

A practical guide to creating and managing your Googlenium personal web niche.

What is Googlenium?

Googlenium is a project celebrating individuality and personal expression. It gives a member a personalized website—your web niche—at https://googlenium.com/yourusername. Your niche is a place to present memories, stories, interests, and life events.

The public home page presents the niche as a personal canvas and promotes a timeline of memorable events, digital libraries, audience-based access, multilingual publishing, and optional Ethereum/Web3 features. A Non-Fungible Event (NFE) is the project's concept for registering a lifetime event as a smart contract so it can be immutable and interactive on a blockchain.

Your public presence

Maintain a profile, welcome text, About article, and personal web pages. Choose your overall look and decide who can view selected pages and content.

Your memories and media

Build a life timeline and calendar, publish stories, moderate guestbook comments, and organize pictures, audio, video, and documents.

Your audience

Organize existing Googlenium members as Family and Friends, Guests, or Visitors. Content access settings use these groups.

Languages

Add supported languages and create translations for your profile, site text, stories, events, and guestbook.

Web3

Manage Ethereum-style wallets, smart contract templates and deployed contracts, network selection, and related marketplace features.

Getting started

  1. Register a Googlenium account if you don't have one. Choose your username and a registration type, then enter the requested account details — see Register a Googlenium account.
  2. Sign in with your Googlenium account — locally with your password or via an OAuth provider — see Sign In. Your Control Panel and site data are tied to the signed-in owner.
  3. Open Administration from the Control Panel menu. The dashboard at Administration is a checklist and summary of your site.
  4. Complete your profile—name, Avatar, Portrait, Welcome message, About article, and email. Use the dashboard's status marks to spot missing items.
  5. Personalize your site under My Site, then add content such as events and stories.
  6. Review access before publishing sensitive content. Newly created stories and Lifetime events may be public by default.

Register a Googlenium account

New members sign up from the site's Register page. Registration has two steps: choose a registration type, then fill in the sign-up form and confirm the policies.

Step 1 — Choose a registration type

I would like to create a web niche for

Select the option that describes who the niche is for, then select Next >. The page links to the sign-up form with your choice.

Registration typeWhat it means
Myself, opened for the public (default)Your niche is public; you manage your content and audience.
Myself, kept privateYour profile starts private (visibility not public); you control how content and audience are managed.
Another personA different Googlenium member will review and approve content publication.
Another person who passed awayA memorial niche. An additional Death Day field appears on the sign-up form, and you provide instructions for managing content and audience.

The side panel lists what registration provides: a web site with predefined pages, Control Panel access, personalized templates, prebuilt widgets, and Picture, Media, and Document Libraries.

Step 2 — Fill in the sign-up form

Sign Up for Googlenium Web niche

Enter your account details. All fields marked with * are required.

FieldHow to use it
Your public address becomes https://googlenium.com/yourusername, up to 30 characters.
A valid email (validated as you type), up to 50 characters. Account deletion requests must be sent from this address.
Up to 30 characters; the two entries must match exactly.
Your name parts, up to 90 characters each. Middle name is optional.
Required, up to 90 characters.
Enter in MM/dd/yyyy format.
Shown only for the memorial registration type (another person who passed away). MM/dd/yyyy format.
Agreeing to the policies

The Sign Up button stays disabled until you read the policies in the side panel and complete the verification code. Enter the code (an audio version is available) and select Confirm to enable Sign Up.

Select Sign Up. A ā€œPlease wait. Your Niche is being preparedā€ panel appears while your niche is created, then a ā€œAlmost doneā€ message replaces the button with Continue.

After registration

Continue takes you to the onboarding guide (/guide/host), where you can start building your site. The Sign Up page also supports returning to sign up after a fix when the service reports a problem (e.g., an unavailable username). Existing members use Sign In on the home or registration pages instead.

The Sign In link appears in the top bar of the site (and on registration pages). You can sign in with your Googlenium account or with a connected third-party (OAuth) account.

Local sign in

Enter your credentials to access your Control Panel and site.

  1. Enter your user name or email address. The panel first checks the user name; if not found, it looks up the account by email address.
  2. Select Continue. The page then asks for your account password.
  3. Enter the password and select Sign In. A wrong name/password combination shows an error with an attempt counter — the password is the one set at registration or later via eMail/Password.

On success you are taken to the onboarding guide at /guide/host (or back to the page you came from when one is supplied, e.g., ?un=username&return_uri=…).

Forgot your password?

Select the (forgot your password?) link under the password field. The password-reset flow (/Sitefinity/Authenticate/SWT) lets you request a reset; sign in again with the new password afterward.

Third-party (OAuth) sign in

Login with …

The Sign In panel also offers Login with Google, Login with X (Twitter), Login with Facebook, Login with Linkedin, and Login with Reddit buttons. A provider button appears only if that provider is enabled by the service. An information icon links to support details.

  1. Select the provider button you want to use.
  2. Authorize access in the provider's own sign-in and consent screens. Googlenium only asks for permission to identify your account there (name, and in some cases email and birthday).
  3. Return to Googlenium. The sign-in completes through the site's OAuth service. On success you land on the /signin_ok page, which shows the third-party identity and asks how you want to continue.

Choose how to continue

Third Party sign-in result

After authorizing with the provider, this page shows the provider's icon, your name, and avatar as recognized by that provider, and offers three ways to proceed.

OptionWhat it does
Continue as a GuestBrowses the niche in guest mode using the third-party identity — no Googlenium account is created or modified. You are taken to the page you were trying to reach (or back to the guide when there is none).
Create Googlenium Host AccountStarts registration of a new local account. The registration form (Register a Googlenium account) is pre-filled with your name, email, and birth date as provided by the third-party provider.
Sign In (username + password)For visitors who already have a Googlenium account. The page shows the help text ā€œIf you already have host account, please sign in with username and password. (Link external login)ā€. A correct sign in links the local account to the third-party identity.

A wrong name/password combination shows the ā€œWrong name\password combination! Please try again.ā€ error with an attempt counter. If that host account no longer exists, the link is cleared and you can register or create a new account instead.

Linking a third-party login to your account

Once you sign in on the /signin_ok page with your existing Googlenium account, the third-party identity is stored on that account. From then on, selecting the same provider button signs you straight in — the /signin_ok page follows the existing link and takes you to the site (or the page you were trying to open) without asking for a password.

Signing out

Sign Outtop bar

When signed in, the top bar shows your name with a Sign Out control.

Selecting it ends your session (authentication cookies and session are cleared) and returns you to the signed-out state with the Sign In link available again.

Administration dashboard

Site Administration

Your Control Panel home page. It summarizes profile completion, page counts, library counts, a QR code for your niche, and a shortcut to site design.

  • Profile checklist: links for Public/Private profile, Avatar picture, Portrait picture, About article, Welcome Message, and email. Green check/cancel-style status icons indicate whether an item appears configured. Select a row to edit it.
  • Pages: Total, Published, and Private counts. Libraries: Pictures, Media, and Documents counts.
  • QR code: points to your personal Googlenium address. The design thumbnail opens Site Design.

This is a status page rather than a form: there are no Save controls here. Use the linked page or the left menu to make changes.

My Profile

Profile pages are under My Profile in the Control Panel. Most changes affect your public-facing profile or account.

Name, photos, account, address

Name

Edit the name and personal dates shown on your profile.

FieldHow to use it
Enter the parts of your name. The values are loaded from your existing profile.
Choose Select gender, male, female, or n/b. Leaving the default selection does not replace a stored value.
Enter dates in MM/dd/yyyy format. Deathday appears only when already set.

Save Changes saves the profile and returns to Site Administration. Cancel is shown, but its destination is not consistently wired; use browser Back if it does not navigate. A failure can display ā€œError saving profile.ā€

Pictures

Set the small Avatar and larger Portrait used on your site.

  • Each card shows the current picture preview, a file picker, Upload Avatar Picture or Upload Portrait Picture, and Select … from Picture Library.
  • Uploads accept one .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif at a time. Uploading publishes the image to your own picture album and immediately assigns it.
  • Selecting a library thumbnail also applies it immediately. Click the preview to open the image editor.
Tip

Changing the assigned photo does not remove the previous image from your library. Keep only photos you intend to retain.

eMail/Password

Change your account email address and password.

  • Current password is required for either change; the eye control reveals/hides the entry.
  • Email address and Save Email: enter a valid address. The page checks the current password and displays a success or error message.
  • New password and Confirm new password: enter a matching password meeting the displayed minimum length/policy, then select Change Password. Cancel returns to Site Administration.

Changes save on this page. Error messages distinguish missing/invalid email, wrong current password, mismatched confirmation, and password-policy failure.

Address

Edit the postal address fields associated with your profile.

Fields: Address1, Address2, City, State (US state dropdown including District of Columbia), ZIP, and Country. There are no required fields. Select Save Changes to save and return to Site Administration; Cancel leaves without saving.

State field limitation

The State control is a fixed US-state list, not a free-text field. For a non-US address, the State value cannot be entered as arbitrary text.

Welcome, About, and email

Welcome

Write the welcome message visitors see on your site in its primary language.

Use the rich-text editor's Design or HTML mode, then select Save Changes. The saved message updates the profile and published language content. Cancel is present but may not have a wired target. The editor filters scripts and supports standard text formatting.

About

Edit the About article / self-description displayed on your public profile.

Enter formatted content in the rich-text editor (Design or HTML mode). Save Changes saves and publishes the profile's About content and returns to the dashboard. Blank content is allowed. Cancel returns to Site Administration.

Email field (legacy)

A reusable legacy email editor, not a standalone menu page. The current-password-protected email change is on the eMail/Password page; use that page where available.

Delete Account

Permanently removes your account and the personal site and data owned by it.

Enter your account Password, then select Delete Account. The server checks the password before deleting the niche and its pages, libraries, stories, events, guestbook, language setup, roles, profile, and associated Web3/Immich records. A completion panel appears if successful.

Irreversible

There is no undo. Verify you have backed up anything you need before proceeding. This is not the same as logging out or hiding your profile.

Events

The Events menu groups content into private event calendars. Each account is provisioned with calendars; you manage the events inside them rather than creating calendars yourself.

Calendars and event types

Lifetime Events

Your life timeline: milestones and memories with a single date. Supports per-event visibility, map location, detailed description, pictures, Immich albums, social links, and optional smart contracts.

Calendar Events

Scheduled events for the site calendar. Supports a start and end date (useful for multi-day events), pictures, details, Immich album, contract, and X post.

Action Events

Dated activities or checklist-like events. Single date, with summary, picture, details, Immich album, contract, and X post options.

Calendars

Dashboard for the Actions, Life Events, and Calendar Events calendars.

Each card shows a calendar picture, title, live event count, Edit Picture, and View Events. Use the event count or View Events button to open that type's list. The calendars are pre-created; this page does not create, rename, or delete calendars.

Calendar picture

Change a calendar card's picture. Upload an image (.jpg/.jpeg/.png/.gif, maximum 5 MB) or select one from your picture library; selection applies immediately. The library album must exist. Back to Calendars returns to the calendar dashboard.

Create and manage events

Common event workflow

Open the relevant event list, choose its New Event link, fill in the quick form, then complete optional details on the full edit page. Lists show published events and offer Edit/Delete; all dates use MM/dd/yyyy. Saves publish immediately.

TypeMenu list / createFull edit formType-specific behavior
LifetimeLifetime Events / New EventEdit Lifetime Event; DetailsSingle date; Access control, map pin, social posts to X/LinkedIn/Reddit/Facebook, Immich, and contract links.
CalendarCalendar Events / New EventEdit Calendar Event; DetailsStart and End Date; no per-event Access control; X post option.
ActionAction Events / New EventEdit Action Event; DetailsSingle date; End Date follows Date; X post option.

Quick create form

Creates an event with its basic information and opens the full edit page.

  • Enter Title (required, up to 90 characters), Date (required, MM/dd/yyyy), and optional Summary.
  • Select Add Event. The event publishes immediately and opens the type-specific edit screen.
  • New Lifetime events are initially Everyone-visible; Calendar and Action visibility follows their configured/default behavior.

Event lists

Browse published events and open their edit or delete workflows.

Rows show date, picture, and title. Lifetime Events also has an Access action. Select EDIT to update; DELETE opens a confirmation page. Events are displayed in date order.

Full event editing

Complete the event after creating it or change its details.

  • Common fields: Title, Date, Summary, Picture, and long-form Details. Use Update to publish changes and Back to Events to return to the list.
  • Calendar events additionally have End Date; change it here for a multi-day event.
  • Lifetime events have Location and Pin Location. On the map, click or drag the marker and select Save Location; coordinates are stored when the event is updated. Internet access is needed for the map.
  • Image controls are Save Event Picture and Select Picture from Library. Images go into your picture album; accepted formats are .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.gif.
  • Edit Event Details opens an HTML-capable rich text editor; Save Changes publishes the full description.
  • Optional integrations link an Immich album, register a smart contract, or post to the social services shown on that event type.

Events linked from another owner's site may be read-only. Keep the picture library album present before uploading.

Lifetime Event Access

Choose who can view an individual Lifetime event.

Use Change beside Everyone, Authenticated, Guests, or Visitors. Everyone means public access; Authenticated means signed-in members; Guests and Visitors use the lists under My Audience and can be combined. Family & Friends is informational on this screen; your owner/admin access remains. The page's Back to Events returns to the Lifetime list.

Delete Event

Review the event's date, title, and picture, then explicitly choose Delete or Cancel.

Deletion is permanent from the end-user interface and there is no browser confirmation dialog. The shared delete page may return to the Lifetime Events list even when deleting a Calendar or Action event; reopen the relevant list afterward.

Stories

Stories are blog-style entries published on your niche. The Control Panel's Stories menu contains the list and creation page; each story has edit, detail, access, delete, and comments workflows.

Stories list

Browse published stories and use per-story actions.

Rows show published date, thumbnail, title, and pill links: Access, EDIT, DELETE, and Comments. Select the relevant link to manage that story. Drafts are not included in the list.

Add Story

Create a story's title, publication date, and summary; the form then opens Edit Story for the rest.

Enter required Title (up to 90 characters), optional Publication Date (MM/dd/yyyy; blank defaults to now), and optional Summary, then select Create Story. A new story publishes immediately and starts with Everyone access. Add its full body and picture in the next step, and review access before sharing sensitive information.

Edit Story

Edit the story's title, date, summary, thumbnail, details link, and optional Immich album association.

  • Edit Title, Date (MM/dd/yyyy), and Summary; select Update to publish.
  • Save Story Picture uploads an accepted .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.gif image, while Select Picture from Library chooses an existing image.
  • Edit Story Details opens the rich-text body editor; save there with Save Changes.
  • Link connected Immich Album associates a connected photo album. Use Back to Stories to return.

Story details

Edit the full story body in the rich-text editor. Use Design/HTML mode as needed; Save Changes publishes immediately, and Cancel returns to Edit Story.

Story access

Set audience visibility for an individual story.

Toggle Everyone, Authenticated, Guests, or Visitors using each Change button. Guests and Visitors refer to your audience rosters and may be combined. Family & Friends is shown as information rather than a toggle. Everyone is the initial default for new stories; the owner's admin role retains access.

Story comments

Review comments on one story and remove unwanted comments.

The list shows comment text, commenter IP address, date, and a per-row Delete link. Delete All Comments immediately removes every comment on that story without a second confirmation; use with care. Back to Stories returns to the story list. IP addresses are personal information—avoid sharing screenshots publicly.

Delete Story / Comment

Delete a story or one comment after reviewing its identifying information.

Story deletion shows its date, title, and picture with Delete and Cancel. Single-comment deletion shows its date and message and requires DELETE; CANCEL returns to comments. These are permanent actions.

Guestbook

Your Guestbook has a site-owned welcome message, entries written by guests (posts), and replies attached to a post (comments). Those are separate things: you can edit the welcome message, view posts, and moderate comments.

Guestbook overview

View the welcome message, set its publication date, and open the post list.

Edit Publication Date in MM/dd/yyyy format and select Change. Edit Guest Book Message opens the message editor. The Posts count opens the live guest-entry list. Date and welcome message updates publish immediately.

Guestbook Message

Edit the welcome/description text displayed on your public guestbook.

Enter content in the rich-text editor and choose Update. It is published immediately. Back to Guestbook returns to the overview.

Guestbook Posts

List the live entries visitors have signed in your guestbook.

The grid shows picture, author, title, date, VIEW, and Comments. Choose VIEW to read an entry or Comments to moderate replies. Use Back to Guestbook to return. Original guest posts are read-only here; the admin pages do not provide a delete-post action.

Guestbook Post

Read one guest entry and see its live comment count. The comment-count link opens its comments. This page has no edit or delete controls.

Guestbook Comments

Review replies on one guestbook post.

Rows show comment text, commenter IP, date, and a Delete action for an individual comment. Delete All immediately deletes every comment on that post without a confirmation page. There is no reply or edit-comment tool. Back to Posts returns to the guest post list.

Delete Comment

Review one comment, then choose Delete or Cancel. The single-comment route is the confirmation step; unlike Delete All it offers a review before committing.

My Site

The menu provides Site Pages and Site Design. Pages manage a single page's access and design; Site Design controls the appearance of the whole niche.

Site Pages

Browse published, navigation-visible pages and inspect per-page design, access, and view count.

The table's page-title link opens the public page in a new tab. The theme thumbnail in Design opens that page's design chooser. The ACCESS link opens its audience settings; Views links to statistics. A plus link appears for pages with multiple visible subpages and opens the page organizer. This list itself does not add, reorder, or delete pages.

Site Design

Change site-wide theme and title-page visuals, portrait placement, and layout.

  • Change Site Theme (All pages) opens the theme chooser.
  • Change Title Page banner picture selects or uploads the banner image.
  • Display Portrait picture checkbox and Title Page Portrait position dropdown (left/right) control the title page portrait; select Apply Changes to save these settings.
  • Boxed and Wide layout choices affect the whole site. Boxed shows side-background pattern swatches; selecting a swatch saves it immediately. The custom image swatch reveals a side-image selector.

Themes and page templates

Choose a site-wide theme or a separate template for an individual page.

The site-wide theme picker lists published theme cards; selecting one opens the apply flow, which changes the whole niche. Per-page design shows the current design and available template cards; choosing one opens a Current/New comparison. Change Theme applies that template to the selected page and publishes it. The Home page uses its dedicated home template.

Page access

Control who can view a single page: Everyone, Authenticated members, Guests, and Visitors.

Each audience has a Change toggle. Everyone and Authenticated are mutually exclusive choices; Guests and Visitors may be combined. A page list label such as Everyone, Identified, Guests, Visitors, Guests and Visitors, or Friends summarizes its saved access level. Guests/Visitors link to the audience rosters.

Banner / side background picker

Choose a built-in gallery image, an image from your library, or upload a new image for the title banner or boxed side background.

The current thumbnail opens the image editor. Select a gallery thumbnail, Select Picure from Library (as spelled in the UI), or Upload then Upload Picture. Selections apply immediately. The page is also used in two modes: title-page Cover and Boxed-layout background.

My Library

The media library stores your site's pictures, audio, video, and documents. Uploads generally publish immediately. Picture album and file collections belong to the signed-in owner.

Pictures

Open your photo albums. Each album provides a list view and thumbnail view.

  • Picture Albums lists albums. Both View actions open an album.
  • Inside an album, Upload New opens the one-image uploader; accepted types: .jpg/.jpeg/.png/.gif. Icons View opens thumbnail wall; List View returns to table.
  • In list view, each image has EDIT (full pixel editor) and DELETE. Delete opens a review page with Delete and Cancel. Thumbnail view opens the editor when a thumbnail is clicked.

Album list is a browser, not an album creation/deletion tool. There is no undo for a deleted picture.

Audio

Manage your audio recordings.

Upload New opens a multi-file uploader accepting .mp3, .wav, .aac, and .mwa; select Save Uploaded Audio files to publish the selected files. Rows show the audio title and play icon; the icon opens the player. DELETE opens a confirmation page with Delete/Cancel. There is no audio title editor on this list.

Video

Manage and preview video files.

Upload New accepts multiple .mp4, .mpeg, .mpg, .avi, or .wmv files. Save Uploaded Videos publishes them. A thumbnail opens the player; Delete opens the delete confirmation. An Edit Video description page exists but is not linked from the normal list. Uploaded videos use a generic film icon by default rather than an extracted preview frame.

Documents and Files

Upload and access documents in your site's Files library.

Upload New accepts multiple .doc, .docx, .pdf, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .zip, or .rar files. Upload Selected Documents publishes the selected files. View opens a file in a new tab; DELETE opens a confirmation page.

Immich Library Connection

Connect Googlenium to an Immich photo/video library, then connect selected Immich albums to your site.

  • For a hosted library, verify your Googlenium password and choose Connect, then Link Library. The hosted account is provisioned with a 200 MB quota.
  • To use an existing remote Immich server, enter its URL, Email, and Password, then choose Connect.
  • When connected, Connected Albums lists album thumbnail, name, description, and access. You can enter an Album Id and choose Connect Album, or use or select from the list of available albums and connect an album.
  • Disconnect removes Googlenium's album links and connection records, but does not delete the source photos from Immich. Confirm the prompt before proceeding.

Immich is an external photo service. A connected album can be linked to an event or story from that content's edit screen, and its site access can be managed separately.

Immich album, linking, and access

Connect/disconnect one album, manage its shared link, attach it to a Story or Event, and set who may see it.

  • Album management shows album ID, Description, Permissions, and Shared Link. Use Save Shared Link/Create Shared Link to store a link, Unlink/Delete Shared Link to remove it, and the connect/disconnect controls to add/remove the album from the Googlenium library.
  • Link Immich Album shows the current association and available connected albums. Choose Link to Event or Link to Story to attach one; the content is republished.
  • Album Access Permissions toggles Everyone, Authenticated, Guests, and Visitors with Change. Everyone hides the more specific rows; Guests/Visitors use your audience roster.

Picture caption and image editor

Use Edit Picture for the description; use the image editor for actual pixel changes.

Edit Picture changes the picture's Description/About text using a rich-text editor; choose Update or Cancel. The image editor offers Undo, Redo, Reset, Zoom, Crop, Resize, Rotate, Flip, Add Text, Insert Image, and Save, plus Return and Save & Return. Save overwrites the original image; changes are destructive and have no cross-session undo. In cover mode, the result is assigned as the site Cover image.

Upload size and formats

File-type controls differ by uploader; follow each page's displayed allowed extensions. The examined project configuration has a large global request limit, but this is not a promise that very large uploads will succeed—browser, hosting, and storage limits also apply. Calendar picture upload has a specific 5 MB limit.

My Audience

Audience groups control relationships to your niche; they are not general contact lists. Groups are fixed and site-specific.

Family and Friends

Trusted people with full access to content and settings; this group can manage other users. Add only people you trust.

Guests

People who may be granted limited access to selected content.

Visitors

People with view-only access to public content, without interaction rights described by the UI.

Audience Groups

See member counts for the three groups and open a roster. Groups cannot be created, renamed, or deleted here.

Family and Friends / Guests / Visitors

Review members and add or remove people from that roster.

Each roster shows picture, name, email, and a per-person REMOVE action, plus Add Family & Friends, Add Guests, or Add Visitors. Add opens Find Users; remove opens a confirmation card with name, email, birthday (if present), Remove, and Cancel. Removal only removes membership in this one group.

Find Users and add

Find an existing Googlenium member and confirm adding them to a group.

Search by First Name, Last Name, Alias, and/or eMail, then select Search audience. Search is prefix-based and combines filled fields; the person must have a public profile and you cannot add yourself. Results have an ADD link. Confirm on Add User with Add or Cancel. This is not an email invitation: the member must already have an account.

Protect administrator access

Family and Friends is described as having full access to your content and settings. Check the selected name before adding someone; use Guests or Visitors for narrower sharing where appropriate.

My Languages

The language tools add a site's supported cultures and let you translate profile copy, site text, stories, events, and the guestbook message.

Translation workflow

Add a language first in My Languages. Then open a content-specific translation page, choose the target language, translate the fields, and save. The source language is English (EN) in the story/event comparison screens. Saved translations are published through the site's content workflow.

My Languages

Manage the additional front-end languages enabled for your niche.

Available lists currently enabled languages with flag, English name, and Remove. In Additional, choose a language from the dropdown and select Add. The language selector updates the flag. Adding a language initializes the site's localized pages and language record; removing one unregisters it. Do not remove a language if you still rely on its translations.

Translate Name & About

Translate the profile name and About article for the selected culture.

Choose Translate to language, edit First name, Middle name, and Last name, then Save Name. Separately edit the rich-text About content and choose Save About. The two Save buttons save their distinct content. Cancel returns to Site Administration.

Translate Welcome

Translate the site's Welcome message. Select the target language, edit the rich-text field, and choose Save Changes. A saved translation is published; Cancel returns to Site Administration.

Translate Header

Translate the site's Header/Banner text for a selected language. Edit the rich-text content and choose Save Changes; use Cancel to return.

Translate GuestBook

Translate the guestbook's welcome/content message—not individual visitor posts or comments. Select a language, edit the rich-text field, and choose Save Changes.

Translate Stories

Browse published stories and select a target language for a specific story.

The list shows date, picture, title, and Translate. Select the target language from Translate to, then open a story. The translation editor places source and target side-by-side, with title, summary, and rich-text body fields. Copy >>> copies the source body into the target; translate/edit the target, then choose Save Translation. Save Changes saves the source-language body; Hide collapses the source panel; Back returns to the list.

Translate Events

Browse published Lifetime Events and select one to translate.

Choose a target language, then select Translate for an event. The side-by-side editor has source/target title, summary, and long description fields; Copy >>> copies the source body, Save Translation saves and publishes the target, Save Changes saves the source content, Hide collapses the source, and Back returns to the event list. The translation list is specifically bound to the Lifetime Events calendar.

Translation pages remember the selected culture during navigation. A language must already be enabled for it to appear in content translation pickers.

Web3

Web3 pages manage Ethereum-style accounts (wallets), smart contract templates and deployed contracts, network selection, contract access, marketplace browsing, and stakes. These are advanced features; use them only when you understand the transaction and key-management risks.

Key and transaction safety

A wallet's private key is controlled by its security phrase. If you choose not to save the phrase, keep it somewhere secure; it cannot be recovered by this guide. Blockchain transactions may spend real funds and incur gas fees. Confirm the selected network and account before submitting anything.

My Accounts

List your registered accounts and balances on the selected network.

Rows show Account, Date, ETH, EON, and actions Details, Transfer, and Transactions. The bar shows Network and a change link. + New Account starts wallet creation/import. Balances and available actions can depend on which network is selected.

New Account

Create a new Ethereum wallet or register an existing wallet.

  • The chooser offers Create New Ethereum Account, Add Existing Ethereum Account, and Cancel.
  • New wallet: enter a Security phrase (at least seven characters), decide whether to check Save, and select Create ETHereum Account. The generated Account # is shown after creation. If Save is unchecked you must retain/re-enter the phrase.
  • Existing wallet: enter Account#, Secure Phrase, optionally check Save, and provide a Private Key (marked ā€œNever savedā€) or upload an account keystore file. Select Import ETHereum Account. Address validation errors are shown on the page.

A new address has no balance until funded on the chosen chain. Keep backup of your own wallet credentials.

Network

Select the blockchain network used by Web3 lists and operations.

Choose a network from the dropdown; the associated flag updates. The selected chain is stored in your profile. A status message confirms success or reports that the network could not be changed. Accounts, templates, contracts, and market listings are network-specific; funds on one chain are not automatically available on another.

Smart Contract Templates

Browse templates available for the selected network. Each template row shows Contract, Coin, and Deploy; Accounts returns to wallet management.

Deployment continues on a contract form where you select Deploy from Account, review MaxGas and Gas Price, and submit. Deployment requires an account with ETH on that network to cover gas. A pending deployment may need later verification; follow the on-screen status.

Deployed Smart Contracts

List contracts associated with you on the selected network.

Rows show Contract, Description, Access, and View. Select Access to manage contract visibility; View opens the contract summary. + Smart Contracts opens templates. Use change to switch network.

Smart Contract details and access

Review a contract summary and control its access if you own it.

The summary shows Contract, Description, Chain, Address, and Deployed (or Date registered in marketplace context), with Details, Actions, Events, and Back. Contract Access offers Change toggles for Everyone, Authenticated, Guests, and Visitors. Everyone makes it public; Authenticated allows signed-in users; Guests/Visitors depend on your audience relationships. Only the owner can manage its access.

Smart Market

Browse contracts shared by other owners on the selected network.

Rows show Contract, Description, and View. Visibility depends on the owner's contract access setting and your sign-in/Guest/Visitor relationship. The list is for discovery; on-chain actions are separate and may require a funded account.

My Stakes

Review stakes associated with your account. The Contract link opens its staking page; the list itself is a summary.

Web3 terminology

Wallet/account is an Ethereum address and its key material. A smart contract is code deployed on a blockchain; an NFE is Googlenium's event-related contract concept. ETH may be used to pay transaction gas. EON is displayed as a token balance in the account list. The exact supported networks and transaction capabilities are configured by the service.

Privacy, publishing, and safety

Check visibility

Audience settings are available for pages, stories, Lifetime events, contracts, and connected Immich albums. Public/Everyone means anonymous visitors can see the content. Use Guests or Visitors only after adding the intended people to the appropriate roster.

Know when saves publish

Most content editors publish when saved; there is generally no draft review stage in these admin flows. Check your public page after an update when appropriate.

Treat delete as permanent

Delete pages and Delete All Comments may commit without a second browser confirmation. Review the item and the consequences first.

Protect data and credentials

Keep independent backups of irreplaceable content. Never share wallet phrases or private keys; avoid exposing commenter IP addresses or private profile information.
